Membership
Several types of membership are available. They are :
Full
Entitles the member to full use of club facilities and participation, as desired, in all club, pennant and social games. The RVBA and VLBA (Bowls Victoria) levy a fee on each registered player and this payment is made by the club from your membership fee.
The membership fee in 2010/ 2011 for this category is $370 (includes a free locker if available) or $190 plus a $7 green fee per game played for adult members with a lesser fee for persons under the age of 21 years - these being Members aged 19 & 20 years @ $175 and members aged under 19 years @ $135.
Social
Entitles the member to full use of the club facilities and the ability to "roll up". This membership category does not allow participation in organised games.
The membership fee in 2010/ 2011 for this category is $55. The fees provide a 12 month membership from May to April each year.
Membership fees and conditions are set annually by the Club.
They also include a first year special price for "full" members who have not bowled before in recognition of the need to purchase clothing, bowls, accessories etc.. The membership fee for this category is $55 plus $7 green fee per game played.
The club will enter into any arrangement necessary where an applicant has concerns on the fees payable or the timing of the payment. Such matters should be discussed in confidence with the Secretary or Treasurer.
Indoor Members
A special "indoor" membership is available @ $45 per year.
Barefoot Bowlers
Barefoot bowlers are invited and welcome to use the club's indoor and outside facilities on a Friday evening - loan bowls are available together with expert coaching by club members. A $5 green fee applies to all non member bowlers with students under 17 years free. In consideration of club's desire not to offend our neighbors, the flood lights will be turned off at 10.00pm sharp each night. After this time bowlers and guests are welcome to adjourn inside the clubhouse to continue with their "non bowling" activities.
Petanque
An annual fee of $55 is payable for our Petanque colleagues.
Coaching
The club is very fortunate to have available several very capable Bowls Australia accredited coaches to provide you expert tuition in the game of bowls. This is a free service open to all new bowlers with all age groups being able to be supported by one of our coaches.
